In an article on, Graham Nash offers some insight into the forthcoming Crosby, Stills & Nash album. Nash indicates that the project, which is being produced by Rick Rubin, is about a third of the way complete. It will focus on cover material with songs now in the mix such as: the Grateful Dead’s “Uncle John’s Band,” the Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider,” Bob Dylan’s “Girl From the North Country,” the Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood,” and Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday.” The trio has already added several of the covers to its live set.

I hope they chose to cover Bob Dylan’s “Girl from the North Country”

This looks cool, but I’d really like to hear them cover Attics of My Life or Till The Morning Comes if they’re going to do Dead material. They’d knock those numbers out of the park.

Attics of My Life would be PERFECT for them. they should also tackle Row Jimmy and Wharf Rat. How about they cover Phish! Fast Enough For You
If I Could
Billy Breathes
Swept Away>Steep
Theme From The Bottom
Wading In The Velvet Sea

wish they’d ditch the modified lyrics to ‘midnight rider’ (at least when I heard them on tour this summer, they were singing it ‘ain’t gonna let them catch’). and it isn’t even a grammar thing, just didnt sound right. ‘girl from the north country’ was awesome.
