Marco Benevento Will Tour With Members of Ween, Elvis Perkins in Dearland and The Slip

Yesterday we reported that Marco Benevento will perform his original score for Roger Corman’s 1960 adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s classic House of Usher, at Mass MoCA’s Hunter Center on October 22. The MoCA show is just one of a series of dates that he has confirmed for the fall. Two of these gigs will be solo piano performances but most of the shows will present Benevento in a trio setting with a variety of ensembles. On October 14-17, he will be joined by Dave Dreiwitz (Ween) and Andy Borger (Ani DiFranco). October 20-24 will see him appear with Borger and Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green). From November 4-6 the Marco Benevento Trio will feature Dreiwitz and Nick Kinsey (Elvis Perkins in Dearland). Finally Benevento will close things out on November 30-December 5 with the classic version of his trio that also includes Mathis and Andrew Barr (The Slip).
