Later this fall, Rhino will issue a new archival release that presents The Doors with a legendary blues guitar guest. Drawn from the group’s Roadhouse Blues Tour The Doors: Live in Vancouver presents a performance from June 6, 1970, at the Pacific National Exhibition Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. The two CD set includes a number of band staples such as “Roadhouse Blues,” “Light My Fire” and “Love Me Two Times” along with a 14 minute version of “When The Music’s Over.” This performance is particularly noteworthy because Albert King sits in for four songs towards the end of the set: “Little Red Rooster,” “Money,” “Rock Me” and “Who Do You Love.” The show later concludes quite fittingly with an epic take on “The End.” On November 22 is the official release date for The Doors: Live in Vancouver.
