Several musicians will come together to celebrate the legacy of Jay Bennett. The musician, who is best known as a former member of Wilco, died last year. The performance will take place at Chicago’s the Subterranean tomorrow and will benefit the newly formed Jay Bennett Foundation (as well as a record release for Bennett’s new album Kicking at the Perfumed Air). The show will find many of Bennett’s friends and collaborators performing songs from throughout his career, including Edward Burch and the Third Verse Quiets, David Vandervelde, Ben Clarke, Dorian Taj, Robbie Hamilton, Steve Frisbie and members of Dolly Varden.
