As we first reported on Sunday in “Rocking The Box,” our weekly look at live music on late night TV, Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy will perform together twice this week. Tonight the two will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman in support of Staples’ new album, You Are Not Alone, which Tweedy produced. Then on Wednesday the pair will make their way to the Colbert Report for what should be an interesting segment.
