Last night Bob Dylan performed two shows in Madison, WI at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Overture Hall. While a few songs were repeated (he closed out both performances with “Thunder On The Mountain” and “Ballad Of A Thin Man” and offered takes on “Jolene” and “Like A Rolling Stone” for his encores), he also shook up his setlists a bit. The early show opened with “Cat’s In The Well” and also included such songs as “Cold Irons Bound” and “Not Dark Yet.” The late show offered versions of “Beyond Here Lies Nothin’,” “I Feel A Change Comin’ On,” “Summer Days” and “Nettie Moore.” His current group which features Tony Garnier on bass, drummer George Recile, multi-instrumentalist Donnie Herron and guitarists Stu Kimball and Charlie Sexton will continues its current college tour at the Michigan State University this evening.
