moe. has postponed its October 30 show in Albany, NY until December 4 due to a “serious illness in the moe.family.”

A note from the band reads:

A sad and unexpected turn of events has resulted in the postponement of this year’s Halloween gig in Albany, NY. Due to a serious illness in the moe.family, the band has made the difficult decision to move the October 30th show to December 4th. moe. considers both Upstate NY and Albany their “homes away from home”, and didn’t want to simply cancel the show. At this time, the band still plans to carry out the original theme of the Electric Lemoe.nade Acid Test on this new night. All tickets will be honored at the December 4th show and the guys look forward to seeing everyone.

The band and management want to thank you for your compassion and understanding. We realize that, for the many fans who planned on traveling to Albany this weekend, this may be an inconvenience. For any fans still in or heading to town this weekend, there are a number of great shows happening that were originally scheduled around the moe. show and are worth checking out:

10/29: Turbine w. the Heddy Brothers and John Scarpulla (Jillian’s)
