Jackie Greene Nods to The Band with Special Guests

Jackie Greene and Truth & Salvage Co. celebrated Halloween a night early at Chico, CA’s El Rey Theatre. Both bands delivered high-energy sets and, at the end of the night, the members of Truth & Salvage Co. joined Greene onstage for a version of The Band’s “The Weight.” Greene and his band then returned to the stage to close the stage the grand finale of the Grateful Dead’s “Sugaree.” Greene recently played a series of shows in Woodstock, NY with Levon Helm and is a member of Phil Lesh & Friends.
