Allman Brothers Band Welcomes Guests

The Allman Brothers Band is three shows into its current fall tour. This past Friday the band played an extended two-set show at Washington, D.C.’s DAR Constitution Hall. Near the end of the band’s first set, local saxophonist Ron Holloway—who has collaborated numerous times with Warren Haynes—emerged for a version of “The Same Thing.” Later in the night, guitarist Larry McCray sat in with the band on “That’s What Love Will Make You Do” before Holloway returned for a take on “You Don’t Love Me.” The Allman Brothers Band will perform at Albany, NY’s Palace Theater tonight.
