Wavy Gravy to Appear at Saint Misbehavin’ Screenings

Saint Misbehavin’ is the new documentary on the life and work of hippie icon Wavy Gravy. The film was produced by directed by Michelle Esrick and boasts none other than D A Pennebaker as one of its executive producers. Last night, Saint Misbehavin’‘ opened at New York’s IFC Center and will run at the theater until December 14.

Wavy Gravy and Saint Misbehavin’‘s filmmakers will appear at the 6:25 PM and 8:30 PM shows today, December 9. The Wavy Gravy Basic Human Needs Award will also be given to The Tibet Fund at the 6:25 PM screening tonight and to RockCANRoll at the 8:30 PM screening tonight. In addition, the film will run at Woodstock, NY’s Upstate Films Woodstock from December 11-16. Wavy Gravy and filmmakers will also appear at the film’s 4 PM screening on Saturday, December 11. The film hopes to find broader distribution based on the reception of these preview tests.
