Big Sam’s Funky Nation is currently on the road with Better Than Ezra as part of the Road to Mardi Gras tour. The New Orleans-based group will return to the Big Easy in time for its annual New Year’s Eve show, however. Big Sam’s Funky Nation will close the year with a performance at New Orleans’ Maple Leaf Bar. Mia Borders will open the show and Khris Royal & Dark Matter will play late night. The show’s ticket price includes “free Food, free Champagne, free party favors & a kiss at midnight (guaranteed).”
