San Francisco soul rocker Nicki Bluhm will release her second album, Driftwood, on February 1. The album features appearances by a number of Bay Area musicians, including the singer’s husband Tim Bluhm and members of his band the Mother Hips. Jackie Greene, Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone and members of ALO (Steve Adams, Dave Brogan, Dan Lebowitz) also contribute to the project.

Driftwood was recorded in 2010 at Greene and Tim Bluhm’s Mission Bells Studio. Nicki Bluhm will open for The Mother Hips at San Francisco’s Palm Ballroom on February 4.
