Kings of Leon Adds 2011 Dates

As previously reported, Kings of Leon will headline Coachella this April. The area rockers have also confirmed a few shows leading up to the massive festival spot. Kings of Leon will now perform at Tulsa, OK’s BOK Center (4/8), Memphis, TN’s FED Ex Forum (4/9) and Austin, TX’s Frank Erwin Center (4/12). The news comes off the announcement that the band’s tour in Australia and South Africa—which was postponed due to surgery on drummer Nathan Followill’s torn right labrum and bicep—has been officially moved to October/November 2011.

Not saying these guys are a bad band….but they certainly don’t Jam!

I always find it strange when a band like Kings of Leon gets coverage on a Jam site. Isn’t that what Rolling Stone is for?

there’s a lot of people that like a diverse selection of musical styles. many people that are fans of “jam” bands are also fans of kings of leon or any number of other indie type bands. did it really ruin your day to see a blurb about a band you don’t listen to on some website? Go ahead everyone, and start running your mouths about how this band or that band sucks and why you hate DMB, etc, etc
