Medeski, Martin and Wood’s “Hey–Hee–Hi–Ho” is one of 111 tracks featured on JAZZ: The Smithsonian Anthology. The six-CD, 200-page compendium is a sequel to the 1973 Smithsonian Collection of Classic Jazz. JAZZ: The Smithsonian Anthology surveys the genre’s history, from Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Bessie Smith to Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock to Wynton Marsalis, Weather Report and Mahavishnu Orchestra. The set will be available on March 29.

MMW is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary. In addition to letting fans request songs on its winter tour, the group will release twenty new studio tracks through its digital channels.
