A Coffin/Sipe Duet
Flecktones/Dave Matthews Band saxophonist Jeff Coffin and Aquarium Rescue Unit drummer Jeff Sipe have completed the new album Duet. The project is now available on iTunes and will also be available for purchase at Jeff Coffin’s shows and clinics. Coffin explains, “Meant to be listened to as a single ‘seamless’ piece, this collaboration is a unique musical and artistic statement. Recorded in Brevard, NC, at the Brevard Music Center, this is a recording that is made up of original compositions as well as collaborative improvisation that is accessible, inviting, and a one-of-a-kind listening experience.” Coffin and Sipe have shared the stage numerous times over the years and play together in the Mu’tet.
