The Allman Brothers Band will return to New York’s Beacon Theatre for a string of shows starting on March 10. After many of those performances, New York’s Iridium will host midnight appearances by a variety of Allman Brothers Band members of associates. In addition, The Iridium will also host Duane Allman’s ‘Layla’ Les Paul. This ’57 Goldtop model was his primary instrument on the first two Allman Brothers albums, as well as Derek & the Dominoes’ Layla sessions. Special surprise guests will play the guitar at the midnight shows. All proceeds from the shows will be split between The Big House (home of the Allman Brothers Band Museum in Macon, GA) and The Les Paul Foundation.
