John Popper and JoJo Hermann sitting in with Davis Wednesday night

Surprise Me Mr. Davis is currently in Austin, TX for SXSW. The band played a late night set Wednesday that featured cameos from John Popper and Widespread Panic’s JoJo Hermann and an afternoon set earlier today. The quintet—which features The Slip, Marco Benevento and Nathan Moore—has now added a last minute show tonight. Davis will perform at Austin’s Cheers Shot Bar at 416 E. 6th from 11:30 PM-close this evening. The stealth show is free of charge.
