The New York psych rock band Woods will host Woodsist Fest 2011 in Big Sur, CA this July. Saturday, July 30’s festivities will take place at Fernwood from 9:15 PM-12:30 AM featuring Nodzzz, Woods / Fresh & Onlys Big Band, Art Museums and Ducktails. Sunday, July 31’s event will take place outside at the Henry Miller Library from 2 until 10:30 PM. Real Estate will lead a Saturday bill that includes Thee Oh Sees, Fresh & Onlys, Woods, Sic Alps, Sun Araw and White Fence. The festival’s website also has information on several local camp grounds.
