Last evening the host act took the stage at the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL. Opening with “Hot ‘Lanta,” the Allman Brothers Band delivered a twelve song set that saw Kofi Burbridge join his brother Oteil and fellow Tedeschi Trucks Band member Derek Trucks on flute during “Who’s Been Talking.” A bit later Warren Haynes welcomed saxophonist Ron Holloway, who now performs with Haynes’ new group for the set-closing “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” The encore saw three other Wanee performers sit-in, as the North Mississippi Allstars Duo of Luther Dickinson and Cody Dickinson appeared on “One Way Out” along with the Lee Brothers’ Roosevelt Collier.

The ABB will appear at Wanee again tonight.
