New Orleans rock legends The Radiators played their final shows last weekend at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. Dubbed “The Last Watusi,” the band celebrated their storied 33-year career with a three-night run, starting with an acoustic show on June 9 and closing their time together with a sold-out show two nights later. The energetic concert featured such fan favorites as “Monkey Meet” and “River Run,” which included an “Over Under Sideways Down” tease by guitarist Dave Malone. After a lengthy set the band came back out for an encore featuring a rendition of The Radiators’ original “Confidential” that segued into a cover of Willie Dixon’s blues classic “Back Door Man,” a number famously recorded by The Doors on their 1967 self-titled debut. iClips.com streamed all three nights, and will keep these shows in their streaming archive until June 17.
