Zach Deputy will headline a benefit to aid victims of a tornado that devastated areas of the Northeast earlier this month. The Disc Jam Music Festival and Disc Golf Tournament will take place at Sturbridge, MA’s Hyland Orchard and Brewery from June 17-19. Proceeds from the festival will all go to the tornado relief fund, and a canned food drive will also be held. The benefit’s picturesque disc golf course encircles the stage area, so the music will never be out of range. Besides the music, the Hyland Farm offers a lot of fun activities for both kids and adults, including a petting zoo and the renowned Pioneer Brewery. Strangers Helping Strangers is also asking local artists to donate their work. Buyers will bid on the art at the festival and 100 percent of the profits will pour into the tornado relief fund.

Zach Deputy recently sat in with Bonerama at New York’s Sullivan Hall this past Saturday. The rising jamband star played guitar with the band for half its set after performing on a Rocks Off concert cruise. The members of Papa Grows Funk opened for Bonerama at Sullivan Hall on Friday and also sat in with the group later in the night.
