Last night, Galactic continued their residency at the Brooklyn Bowl with another spectacular performance. Special guests included Warren Haynes, Corey Glover of Living Colour, trombonist Corey Henry of the Rebirth Brass Band, guitarist Jamie McLean, trumpet player Maurice Brown, Nigel Hall, and the Brazilian Drums.

Two of the songs featuring Haynes were covers of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Miss Lover” (sung by Glover) and Led Zeppelin’s version of “When the Levee Breaks,” both of which showcased Warren’s blues guitar chops. The Led Zeppelin theme continued when “Sunday Araq” flowed seamlessly into the climactic “Whole Lotta Love.” They ended with the classic “Baker’s Dozen,” which featured impressive solos by Jamie McLean and drummer Stanton Moore. Galactic will be playing again tonight at the Brooklyn Bowl and will once again feature Glover and Henry, as well as Eric Krasno of Soulive. ?uestlove of the Roots will also be doing a DJ set after the show.
