Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews has quite a week ahead. Following a Monday appearance in his native New Orleans, he will head up to New York City and sit in with The Roots on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (after which Andrews & Orleans Avenue will deliver an intimate show at The Box). Then it’s off to Boston for two nights at the Orpheum opening for Widespread Panic before a return to NYC and a Sunday gig at the rescheduled Dave Matthews Band Caravan. After this, the group will fly to London and tape an episode of Later with Jools Holland prior to some U.K. shows in support of their album For True which will be released this Tuesday, September 13.
