The Decemberists will release the B-sides EP Long Live The King on November 1. A companion to chart topping The King Is Dead, the six-song EP features outtakes from The King Is Dead recording sessions, including “E. Watson” (with backing vocals from Laura Veirs and Annalisa Tornfelt), the horn-drenched “Sonnet” and a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Row Jimmy.” The EP also features the home demo “I 4 U & U 4 Me.” Long Live The King will be available on both CD and 10” vinyl. Though The Decemberists’ version of “Row Jimmy” has circulated, this is the first time the cover has been commercially available on CD.
