There’s a pile of these that I’d love to have…so what are the chances that any of them will actually be in my local independent record store (and thank god that I still have one) when I walk through the doors that day? Hint: I’ve yet to score anything on my “want” list on prior Record Store days. Do I need to camp out overnight?

I always touch base with my indie beforehand and ask him to bring in the specific things I want and its always done. Course I shop at mine on a weekly basis but its better than forcing them to guess everything someone might want.

It’s a shame these tend to pop up on eBay at a huge premium instead of at the local record shop.

This is incorrect. Phish is not releasing the White Tape on vinyl. They are releasing Party Time on vinyl. The White Tape is being released on CD.

Actually Phish released both the White Tape and Party Time on vinyl in very limited runs at Superball this summer. The White Tape was pressed on white vinyl.
The White Tape was issued on cd years ago, and is available at phish dry goods.
