Since their club days, My Morning Jacket has supplemented their full length releases with a series of EPs. The latest MMJ EP release is an iTunes session focused on Christmas music. The seven-song recording features Christmas standards “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Please Come Home For Christmas” as well as a reworking of Circuital ’s “Wonderful (The Way I Feel)” and the new song “Welcome Home.” Both “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and “When The Bells Start Ringing” feature appearances by The Head And The Heart, who joined MMJ for “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” onstage a few times in Europe earlier this fall. MMJ also released the holiday-themed My Morning Jacket Does Xmas Fiasco Style EP in 2000.
