While most music venues are dark on Christmas Eve, San Francisco’s Boom Boom Room will host live music. Guitarist Will Bernard—who currently lives in New York but spent years in the Bay Area—will return to San Francisco to host his X-Mas All-Star Thang at the venue. Confirmed guests include keyboardist Erik Deutsch (Charlie Hunter), bassist Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green) and drummer Dale Fanning (Jessica Lurie). Additional guests are expected and Digital Underground DJ K-OS will open the night. Bernard will also perform at the Boom Boom Room on December 29 along with Wil Blades and the Jazz Mafia Horns as W-BEEZ.
