Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band recently released their first studio album, Renaissance Man. The founding Allman Brothers Band drummer will take his band on the road in support of the project, including a stretch of shows opening for Gregg Allman from January 4-24. Fittingly, the ABB co-founders’ tour will come to a close in Macon, GA. During their run with Allman, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band will also dip into some clubs for select headlining performances of their own. On January 8, the jazz/soul group will play a special show at New Orleans’ D.B.A. Tickets for the intimate gig will only be available at the door. Then, on January 18, Jaimoe and his outfit will play a free show at Hollywood, FL’s Seminole Hard Rock Live before Allman’s gig in the area. They will also headline Atlanta’s Smith’s Olde Bar on January 22.

After their run with Allman, the Connecticut-based group will work their way back to the Northeast, making stops at Charlotte, NC’s The Double Door Inn (1/25), New York’s Gramercy Theatre (1/27) and Philadelphia’s Theatre of the Living Arts (1/28). The band’s New York date will also feature Jamie McLean Band.
