On Friday, January 6, the New York Guitar Festival will kick off with a free show at the World Financial Center’s Winter Garden. “The Apollo Project” will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Brian Eno’s Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks with a live performance that re-explores the recording through the contributions of Mike Gordon, Larry Campbell, Itsnotyouitsme, Noveller and Tortoise’s Jeff Parker.
