Todd Snider will release his latest studio album, Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables, on March 6 via Aimless Records. The album comes a year after Snider issued a live collaboration with Great American Taxi, The Storyteller. Snider recorded his new album in a week with co-producer Eric McConnell and a handful of East Nashville musicians. “I told them I wanted to make a mess,” Snider said in a statement. The lone cover on Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables is a take on Jimmy Buffett’s “West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown.” The singer/songwriter plans to tour with a band behind Stoner Fables, including stops at New York’s Irving Plaza (3/8) and San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall (3/23-24).
