Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bonnie Raitt will release her first studio album in seven years, entitled Slipstream, on April 10 via Redwing Records. The first single off that release is a reinvented version of Gerry Rafferty’s hit “Right Down The Line,” which is now streaming over at RollingStone.com.

On the heels of the new album, Raitt will embark on the first leg of her 70-date tour beginning on May 1. Marc Cohn will join Raitt as the opening act for the first month of shows on the first leg, with Mavis Staples set to open the latter dates. Tickets are available for pre-sale starting February 8th on Raitt’s official site. See below for the full list of dates.

Additionally, Raitt, a nine-time GRAMMY winner, will perform on the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, February 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Raitt and Alicia Keys will honor the recently passed R&B icon Etta James with their performance.
