As previously reported, The Infamous Stringdusters have been opening up the shows for Yonder Mountain String Band on their current tour. Earlier this week, the two bands performed shows at the Music Farm in Charleston, SC on Wednesday, February, 22 and the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC on Thursday, Feburary, 23, which featured several sit ins throughout both nights.

On Wednesday in Asheville, The Strindusters’ Jeremy Garrett joined Yonder on fiddle for three tunes to close out the first set, “Ramblin in the Rambler,” “Illinois Rain,” and “Ramblin Reprise.” In the second set, Stringdusters guitarist Andy Falco sat in on guitar for “If You’re Ever In Oklahoma” before the full band joined in for the encore of “New Speedway Boogie,” and “You’re No Good.”

On Thursday, members of both bands collaborated again with Andy Hall sitting in on dobro for “Criminal,” “Dawn’s Early Light,” and “Boatman” at the end of the first set. In the second half of the show, Chris Pandolfi joined in banjo for “No Expectations,” while the whole band sat in on the encore, “My Gal.”

Both bands will return to the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC tonight for a sold-out performance.
