Wyllys and Kraz (the DJ alias of Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno) will play two Bowlive after parties at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl later this week. The performers will DJ at the Bowl after Soulive’s shows on Friday and Saturday night. Friday’s Bowlive lineup already includes Karl Denson, Jennifer Hartswick and the Alecia Chakour Band while Saturday’s show will feature Marco Benevento, Hartswick and the Nigel Hall Band.

In other news, Soulive has added a special afternoon show at Brooklyn Bowl on March 3. Part of the Kidrockers concert series, the family-oriented show will take place at 1 PM. According to the Bowl, these “all ages shows are designed to bring families together to experience some of the most engaging and vital artists in indie music and comedy. Artists perform original (not specifically made for children) songs in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly.” No strangers to kids’ shows, the members of Soulive have performed as part of the Yo Gaba Gaba Live tour.

The third-annual Bowlive will kick off this Tuesday.
