Blues Traveler will return to Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheater on July 4th as part of their 25th anniversary celebration. Blues Traveler has performed at Red Rocks over July 4th or July 4th weekend every summer since 1992 (with the exception of 1999, when the group canceled its appearance due to John Popper’s hospitalization). The group’s Red Rocks shows are traditionally some of the band’s marquee events each year. Fitz & The Tantrums will open the night.

Blues Traveler was in Boulder, CO this past weekend to tape an episode of eTown at the Boulder Theater. Like most of their eTown shows, hosts Nick Forster (Hot Rize) and Helen Forster sat in with the grouo during their set. The musical couple—along with the episode’s other guest Ruthie Foster—joined Blues Traveler for a cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry.”
