Wilco, Blitzen Trapper and Megafaun have joined the lineup for this summer’s Newport Folk Festival. The three bands will perform at Newport RI’s Fort Adams State Park on Friday, July 27, kicking off the multi-day festival. Newport Folk’s main festivities will take place the next two days featuring My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst, Iron & Wine, Dawes and many others. As in years past, the Friday night show require separate tickets.
