Peter Gabriel will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his iconic album So by performing the album in its entirety on tour this summer. Gabriel will reunite with members of the original So touring band for the outing—dubbed the ‘Back to Front’ tour—and also promises select hits from other corners of his career. The tour will stop in 13 North American cities, beginning in Quebec City, QC on September 16. Gabriel’s last retrospective tour found the British rock guitarist performing orchestrated versions of songs culled from throughout his catalog.

To coincide with the tour, So will be re-issued on September 18 as a CD, special edition 3-CD set, and Super Deluxe Box Set. So is the best-selling album of Gabriel’s career and debuted at the top of the music charts around the world going on to achieve 5-times platinum sales and becoming one of the most seminal albums of the 1980’s. It features hits such as “Sledgehammer,” “Big Time,” “Red Rain,” the Kate Bush duet “Don’t Give Up” and “In Your Eyes.” “Sledgehammer” remains the most played video of all time on MTV to date.
