New York City’s ISSUE Project Room will present Philip Glass: Music with Friends, a three-day festival of intimate concerts taking place June 13-15. During the event, iconic minimalist composer Philip Glass will perform solo as well as collaborate with artists including Laurie Anderson and Stephin Merritt (of The Magnetic Fields), Tristan Perich, Ryan Sawyer, Ben Vida and Nate Wooley. These will be Glass’ only performances in Brooklyn during the year of his 75th birthday.

Philip Glass: Music with Friends will go to benefit the ISSUE Project Room and the Aurora Music Foundation, whose mission is to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor and develop the appreciation, understanding, taste and love of the musical arts, to create a musical center for the advancement of such purposes and to secure the interests of patrons of these arts.

Tickets for Philip Glass: Music with Friends can be purchased by visiting the ISSUE Project Room website.
