Brooklyn’s rapidly rising indie afro-jam octet Rubblebucket will release a new EP, which has yet to be titled, on September 11. Recorded and produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Gossip, Ra Ra Riot, Blonde Redhead), the group captured the tracks in Seattle’s famed Bear Creek Studios in between festival appearances over the past month. A highlight of the EP is the onomatopoeia laced anthem “Ooo Waa,” which listeners got a sneak peak of on the group’s Daytrotter Session earlier this year.

In support of the new release, Rubblebucket will hit the road on a co-headlining tour with Reptar for a series of dates in September. The group returns to the road next month at the High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, CA. See below for a full tour itinerary.

Lastly, Rubblebucket will make their TV debut when the group performs on Jimmy Kimmel Live on July 18.
