Dave Matthews Band Announces New Album Away From The World
Dave Matthews Band have revealed the details of their forthcoming studio album, Away From The World, which comes out on September 11 via RCA Records.
The album sees DMB return to the studio with producer Steve Lillywhite—producer of the group’s first three studio albums, Under the Table and Dreaming (1994), Crash (1996) and Before These Crowded Streets (1998)—who last worked with DMB on the aborted Lillywhite Sessions in 2000. The album comes as the follow-up to 2009’s Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. See below for the full tracklisting.
Away From The World is now available for pre-order via the Dave Matthews Band official website. The album will be available in CD, digital and vinyl formats. Deluxe versions of the CD and digital editions—containing three exclusive new live tracks—will also be available. A super-deluxe edition will include the deluxe CD, a DVD, a 2012 tour photo book and more. Individuals who pre-order any configuration of the album will receive five bonus tracks, recorded live on Dave Matthews Band’s 2012 summer tour, upon the release of Away From The World. Members of The Warehouse (the group’s official fan association) who pre-order the album will receive eight bonus tracks.
Dave Matthews Band is currently on the road and will play the second of two shows at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ tonight.
