Perpetual Groove have cancelled this weekend’s show due to injury. Guitarist Brock Butler sustained a left hand injury while moving furniture last week.

According to a message from the band, “Our dearly beloved and very eager Brock Butler was in the process of moving from one house to another and unfortunately sustained a crush injury. Fortunately, his Orthopedist is very optimistic that he will be able to return to playing sooner than later. We will keep all of you posted on any updates at all regarding Brock’s (hopefully) speedy recovery. Thank you all for your support and thoughts during this time of healing.”

Tickets to the band’s show at Nashville, TN’s Exit/In tonight.
Huntsville, AL’s Crossroads tomorrow and Birmingham, AL’s Workplay on Saturday can be refunded.

In more optimistic news, PGroove has confirmed several fall dates. The band’s new shows include stops at Charleston, SC’s The Pour House (9/14-15) and New York’s Brooklyn Bowl (9/21-22).
