Gov’t Mule welcomed two different guests while in Europe this past week. On July 12, Gov’t Mule performed at Lasko, Slovenia’s Pivo & Cvetje (Beer & Flowers) Festival. During their encore, the members of Gov’t Mule invited out Fabio Drusin, the guitarist in the European jamband W.I.N.D., for a take on “Ventilator Blues.” Then on July 14, Gov’t Mule appeared at Winterbach, Germany’s Sallerhalle. During their encore, the band welcomed guitarist John Fohl for “32/20 Blues” and “Spanish Moon. Fohl, a former member of Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, recently spent time on the road opening for Gov’t Mule as a member of Dr. John & the Lower 911. Gov’t Mule will perform in Wroclaw, Poland tomorrow.
