Band of Horses celebrated the release of their new studio album Mirage Rock with a special show at Brooklyn, NY’s House of Vans DIY space last night. Band of Horses guitarist guitarist Tyler Ramsey pulled double duty and opened the show with as solo set as well. Near the end of Ramsey’s segment, Band of Horses frontman Ben Bridwell also emerged to join his bandmate on a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “All Through the Night.”

Band of Horses have a few special dates confirmed. This evening the band will perform on The Late Show with David Letterman and on September 22 they will appear at Pensacola, FL’s Deluna Festival. Then next week they will cross the country for gigs at Los Angeles, CA’s Troubadour on September 27 and New York, NY’s Global Poverty Project on September 29.
