Led Zeppelin Tease Possible Return

Last night, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were on hand for a screening of their concert film Celebration Day. The movie presents their 2007 reunion show at the London’s 02 Arena. Following the film the three musicians answered questions. As British music magazine NME reported, journalists were most interested in learning as to whether they might perform another gig together. While Robert Plant has been dismissive of this question in the past, this time he responded, “That would be kiss and tell.” Meanwhile Page ducked the issue altogether, responding, “Can I just ask you all if you enjoyed the film?” Celebration Say Opens globally on October 17 with a DVD release set to follow on November 19.

Well, for a completely different perspective on the same interview, check out this article from the Washington Post. I’m not holding my breath…

It would be nice if they did one more grand concert, for a benefit or charity whatever for the 45th anniversay. Then call it day officially. Hey we have all of the discs and dvds if we want to go back and remember. Let them live their lives. They have given alot and then some over the years. So thanks for all of the great music

Uuuccchhhh talk about over the fucking hill!!!! they will be up there in wheel chairs and waklers they look horrible let alone plant couldn’t hit those notes if he was on….. a.b.c.d.e. thru z!!! It’s not 1977!!!! Why dont’ they co-headline with the stones Oy Fuckn Vey!!!

Frodo September 25, 2012, 12:04:51

“they look horrible” They always looked horrible. That’s why they don’t appear on album covers after Zep 3.
But what does look have to do with the music?

dankerator September 25, 2012, 14:32:34

@ Frodo, u r clueless the music fuckn blows now it’s not 1977!!! I hope u pay a thousand dollars for a ticket and robert plant drops in your lap!!! But i think they will not tour and u all can just dream or look for your time machine to transport u back to the seventies!!!!! That goes for the stones as well fuckn horrible!!! there r a few exceptions i can tell u that “cheap trick, B.O.C. r just a couple who can still rock !!! Even Aerosmith was good this time around!!!

Ouish September 26, 2012, 12:10:50

Cheap Trick!?!? BOC!?!? Aerosmith!?!? You’ve GOT to be joking! That’s the most absurd stuff I’ve heard in a long time. If all three of those bands got together on one stage for a 50 show tour, the Mighty Zep would STILL out-sell them with ONE show. Ridiculous statement man.

Wooker T. September 27, 2012, 15:24:06

If Zep aint callin the Duo in to write and record new stuff and tour the galixy im not givin a shit

Lothars September 28, 2012, 16:03:34

to dankerator: Cheap Trick, BOC, Aerosmith suck dong. A Zep reunion show would be sweet indeed. Always amazes me, people’s shitty tastes in music and ignorance.

joe September 30, 2012, 16:43:27

i have never been a led head, but i bet they come back. shit guns and roses is playing bridge skewl.
whats next? if the origginal lineup of GNR toured, i would spend a bill to see a show.
but not axl and hired guns.

Garciadann October 2, 2012, 17:31:32

Coincidence I think not or I want to at least start the rumor !! FOO FIGHTERS on break, David Grohl will play drums for LED ZEPP reunion tour !!!!

Wiser Times October 2, 2012, 22:38:28

Steve Gorman should be on drums if it happened. I don’t think he would do it even if he was asked. He would feel too wierd.
It would be a bad idea if they did do ANY kind of tour. What, 35 years later do a reunion. It would be a big disappointment for a lot of people, spending a lot of money.
