Dave Schools to Appear on The Grateful Dead Radio Hour

Longtime Deadhead Dave Schools scored his dream spot in Mickey Hart’s band last year and has toured with the Grateful Dead drummer throughout 2012 while Widespread Panic is off the road. This Wednesday, October 3, Schools will talk about his current projects with Hart, Widespread Panic’s new live album WOOD and more when he appears on The Grateful Dead Radio Hour. The program will air at 8:30pm Pacific (11:30pm Eastern) on KPFA 94.1 in Berkley, CA and stream live online at Schools will also give away copies of WOOD on-air.

This just in: “KPFA Studios has regretfully announced a cancellation of this program due to the fact that Dave Schools cannot physically fit into the studio as it is presently constructed. No plans have been made yet to expand the studio to accomodate the bassist/ behemoth”.
