Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sonny Landreth, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Bobby Lee Rodgers, The Wood Brothers and Dr. John are among the acts slated to appear at the inaugural Sunshine Blues Festival. The multi-city event will take place throughout Florida from January 18-20. The traveling festival will kick off in Fort Myers on January 18, move to St. Petersburg on January 19 and come to a close in Boca Raton on January 20. Other acts slated to appear include: John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers guitarist Walter Trout, British blues guitarist Matt Schofield, New Orleans’ Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Florida guitar favorite Bobby Lee Rodgers, multiple Grammy and Blues Music Award-winner Joe Louis Walker and guitarist Sean Chambers. Dr. John will perform in St. Petersburg and Boca Raton only.
