Arcade Fire’s newest number

Arcade Fire are expected to release their fourth studio album in 2013. The indie rock collective’s most recent release, The Suburbs came out in 2010. While in New York for a performance held at the Eyebeam Art + Technology Center, the group moved over to the city’s ornate Guastavino’s for a stealth appearance on Thursday night.

During their set, Arcade Fire played the new original song “Crucified Again.” Arcade Fire debuted the song at a benefit in Haiti this past March, but this is the first time a recording of the song has surfaced. Arcade Fire has only played a handful of gigs since wrapping-up their world tour at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit in late 2011.
