Phil Lesh and Bob Weir sang the National Anthem at Game 2 of the MLB National League Championship Series last night. Lesh and Weir were joined by San Francisco Giants third base coach Tim Flannery for the song, which they performed before the Giants’ playoff game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Phil Lesh also played a last minute “Late Night Bar Show“at his Terrapin Crossroads Bar & Restaurant on Friday night. Lesh was joined by Ross James and Ryan Adams & The Cardinals’ Jon Graboff, as well as his son Grahame Lesh. The one-set show kicked off at 9:30pm, with the band playing an assortment of Dead songs and covers, including renditions of Bob Dylan’s “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You,” Sam Cooke’s “I Am a Pilgrim,” Jimmy Reed’s “Big Boss Man,” Merele Travis’ “Nine Pound Hammer,” Woody Guthrie’s “Deportee,” Earle Earne’s “Tom Ames Prayer” and Steve Earle’s “The Devil’s Right Hand.”
