The album ,which is set to be released in February 2013, features covers of John Denver’s most popular songs by a variety of artists including Train, Amos Lee, Brandi Carlisle, Lucinda Williams, Josh Ritter, Old Crow Medicine Show, Bind Pilot, among others. John Denver released twenty-three studio albums over the course of his career, and his catalogue continues to sell thousands of units per week. Too bad nobody coverd Poems Prayers and Promises It’s a truly beautiful hippie tune.

One of my favorites, Jim. No complaints on the selections, though. There is so much to choose from. John Denver was truly an artist. I saw him perform many..many years ago and I still rank that show as one of the best shows that I have seen.
