A Lee Boy Sits in with Gov’t Mule

Gov’t Mule spent Fright Night performing at St. Louis, MO’s The Pageant yesterday. The Lee Boys opened the show and, during Mule’s encore, the band’s pedal steel guitarist emerged for “Hammer & Nails” and JJ Cale’s “After Midnight.” The latter song received a particularly big response as the show segued into Halloween.

Mule will celebrate Halloween at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre this evening. The quartet will pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix, focusing on unique covers the band has not performed live.
