Jim James Confirms Spring Tour, Fallon Performances

Jim James has announced a slew of spring tour dates for April and May. The My Morning Jacket frontman will get started with a gig at the Brown Theatre in Louisville, KY before making his way across the country over the course of the next month. James will be touring in support of his debut solo album Regions of Light and Sound of God, which will be released on February 5. You can stream the full album today on NPR, and a complete list of James’ upcoming tour dates can be found below. Tickets to the shows will go on sale this weekend, while members of My Morning Jacket’s Roll Call fan club will be able to purchase them on Wednesday at noon EST.

As previously reported, James has already scheduled a few shows in Philadelphia and New York City for February. The My Morning Jacket frontman is profiled in the current issue of Relix, which you an purchase here.

In addition to the tour dates, James has also announced that he will be backed by the The Roots on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, February 4. He will then return to the show the following night to sit in with The Roots—who moonlight at Fallon’s house band—as a special guest.
